Australian Wakeboarding Phenoms Choose Supra Boats

Young guns Cory and Bradley Teunissen recently signed with Supra Boats (@SupraBoats) as Junior Pro riders.

Australia's youngest one-two wakeboarding punch, the Teunissen brothers, are now shredding the rampy water behind Supra Boats. Bradley and Cory Teunissen were given the opportunity to ride for the luxury performance customer-centric Buzz Brand of the Year and jumped at the chance. At 16 and 13 years old respectively, these young guns from Down Under, have been racking-up boat loads of accomplishments in the world of semi-pro wakeboarding. As their skills and riding careers progress so has their choice in wakeboard boats. Just like they relentlessly push their riding, Bradley and Cory have gone “beyond better” with a tow boat sponsor focused as much on refinement and relationships as wake performance. Look for more big things from Brad and Cory on the water behind their Supra boat.

Supra Launch 242

From Brisbane, Australia, Brad and Cory began wakeboarding at 8 and 6. Their father Jeff Teunissen brought home a wakeboard and since that first pull the boys have never stopped improving. In 2011 Brad earned the title of State and National Jr Men’s Champion in Australia. He also made it to his first Pro Final placing an impressive 5th at Wake Wars. Cory also scorched 2011 by capturing the WWA World’s title in the 10-14 age division. He followed up by placing first in the same division for the Brisbane State and Australian National titles. Cory is also the record holder for the youngest rider to land a 900.

When we asked Brad and Cory about signing with Supra, Brad said, “We’re super stoked! We couldn’t have picked a better team to be with and we’re looking forward to the future.” Cory added, “We’re excited to be part of the Supra Family!”

And after the best year of their lives, the Teunissen Brothers decided to upgrade their riding even further with a Supra Launch 242 and a couple of coveted spots on Supra’s Junior Pro Team.

When we asked Rick Tinker, President of Skier’s Choice the manufacturer of Supra boats, about the Teunissens and their new place on Supra’s Junior Pro Team, he responded this way, “We’re not just about associating with pro riders once they’ve made it. We feel it is just as important to support riders like Brad and Cory who are giving it all they’ve got to get to the pro level.” Tinker continued, “Riding abilities aside, these boys were made for Team Supra with character as strong as their performances. We couldn’t be more pleased they chose to join our Junior Pro team.”
