Team Supra Boats @Supra_Boats Factory Pro Rider, Bec Gange, continues to show us that in addition to talent; determination, attitude and passion for the sport of wakeboarding can go a long way towards creating championship-winning performances. Fresh off of her recent Australian National Title win, Bec stunned spectators by taking down the reigning world champ with a stellar run to capture the win at the first World Cup Stop of the 2013 season in the City of Mandurah in Western Australia.
In Women’s Wakeboard, the National
Champion and World Cup bronze medalist from 2012, 23 year-old Bec Gange
from Mildura, Victoria, Australia stunned the spectators in soundly out-scoring a field
which included the talented World Champion, Raimi Merrit USA. With two
falls on this rare occasion, Merrit was out of the podium this time.
Nicola Butler GBR, who took the bronze medal position in last year’s
Indonesia World Cup Stop, rose to the silver medal position in
Mandurah, closely followed by Sweden’s Caroline Djupso.
