Team Supra Boats Earns Top Spots in Most Competitive Classes at Wake Open

Team Supra Boats @SupraBoats made a statement at the Wake Open this past weekend bringing home a first, a third and a second in three of the most competitive classes. Cory Teunissen obliterated the Jr. Pro Men with a difficult spin-filled run that earned him a perfect score. 6-time World Champion Reed Hansen earned 3rd place in Pro Men Wakeskate at the Wake Open and earned 2nd in the overall standings. Supra Boats Sam Brown took second in Boys. Team Supra Boats is definitely primed for the season finale Rockstar WWA World Wakeboard Championships presented by Supra Boats. We are Supra proud of the entire team’s performance and can’t wait to see what they will do behind the all new Supra SE550 making its competitive debut at Worlds September 11-14, 2014.

Team Supra Boats Wins Accumulate at Wake Games

Team Supra Boats Reed Hansen (@ReedHansen) dominated Pro Men Wakeskate, Cory Teunissen (@Cory Teunissen) bested Junior Pro Men Wakeboard, Sam Brown (@_Sam_Brown02_) swamped Boys Wakeboard, Team Austin Hair (@AustinHair)took the win in the team competition and Austin earned 4th overall in Pro Men Wakeboard, while Bec Gange (@BecGange) finished top five in Pro Women Wakeboard at the 2014 Wake Games.  

Supra Boats (@Supra_Boats) social media channels were swarming with Team Supra Boats (#TeamSupraBoats) updates this past weekend from the Wake Games. Supra Pro and Amateur Team Riders went off at the first King of Wake event of the 2014 season. They went from training behind the WWA World Wakeboard Championship Supra SA550 all winter to taking their riding beyond better and collecting winning performances in competition.

Supra Boats @Supra_Boats owner Nic Saunders loves his Supra Boat so much, he decided to get this amazing Supra cool tattoo of his 2004 Supra Launch 22.   

Nic tells us “My boat is the love of my life (besides my wife). People always ask, what sort of boat do you have? I got sick of having to get out my phone and show them a picture so got a picture of it tattooed on my arm instead! I have had my boat for just over a year and had my tattoo for about 3-4 months. I'm at the river any chance I get, I live in Australia so we get a pretty good summer. My favorite thing to do is wakeboard, but I'll do anything, wake surfing, knee boarding, anyone that knows me knows I'm all about getting out on the boat!"

Prom Invite Between Supra Friends!

Even though they'd probably both rather be on the lake in a Supra boat @SupraBoats, best friends Chase Miller and Caite Borek are going to Caite's high school prom together. Chase asked Caite as a friend so she wouldn't have to go stag. That makes Chase a great friend, but the best part about this story is the way he asked.

Since they are best buds, Chase wanted to surprise Caite with the invitation. Even though neither of them really wanted to go to the prom, Chase thought it could be fun if they went together. Chase was thinking about a wakeboard trick he has been working on and the idea hit him. "I could write it on my board and she would see it when I was Wakeboarding."
