Supra Boats Earns 7th Consecutive Customer Service Award

Supra Boats @Supra_Boats is being recognized for outstanding customer service again this year with the 2012 Marine Industry CSI Award from NMMA.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) announced Supra Boats as a recipient of the 2012 Marine Industry CSI Award. That makes it 7 years in a row for this luxury performance wake boat brand. Supra Boats was recognized individually for excellence in customer satisfaction, as part of NMMA’s Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) program.

Supra Boats will be acknowledged during the annual Industry Breakfast at the 2012 International Boat Builders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) in Louisville, Kentucky.

Supra Boats @Supra_Boats is set to shock a convention center of exclusive invitees at their SHOCK AND AWE wake boat reveal on July 22, 2012. Supra Boats dealers from around the world will be present to see the company unveil their newest "beyond better" 2013 wake boat next Sunday night. Supra Boats media partners like Transworld Wakeboarding Magazine, Alliance Wake Magazine WakeWorld.com and wakeboarder.com will be in attendance to cover this event. Supra has also extended the exclusive invitation to the SHOCK AND AWE boat reveal to several of their dedicated boat owner/ ambassadors. World Champion professional wakeskater Reed Hansen will be there along side other Team Supra members like pro wakeboarders Trevor Hansen and Austin Hair. These guys have actually already experienced the shock and awe after helping to develop the new wake boat and riding the finished product earlier this month. They want their chance to share the experience.

Supra Boats @Supra_Boats just received this email update from Dave Briscoe about the 2012 Summer Session clinic tour.

The 2012 Tour is up and running, I left Florida on the 31st of May. First stop was Neptune Dive And Ski in Augusta, GA. One of my old students, Ben Lawson, who came one the road with me 5 years ago, helped organize a stop in Appling, GA. We had a great turn out and have been asked to come back in September on the way home. The tour was a little late to get all the dates pinned down this year, but all of my sponsors stepped up this year to help the tour continue. This year marks the 10th year Briscoe’s Summer Sessions has gone out on the road. I appreciate all of you that have stood behind me over the years and want to welcome our new sponsors, Tantrum Tow Ropes and Dupe’ Footwear. OJ Props also set us up with the latest and greatest props. I am now running the new 5 blade OJ Prop and it’s saving me quite a bit on fuel as I’m not tacking as high on my RPMs. I am setting up as many people as possible this summer with this new prop. So far our students have been very receptive to the product we bring on the road.

Supra Boats @Supra_Boats Pro Team Rider, Austin Hair, just earned one of the most satisfying victories in sports; a team victory. Team Austin Hair took home gold at Wake Games 2012. Read on to learn more about the team's performance.

"This past weekend we wrapped up the Wake Games here in Orlando. The top ten pro men from last year's King of Wake standings get to be team captains. This meant that the Sovens, Harley, myself and a few others would be competing against each other not only on the water, but at the draft as well. The draft is where they separate the men from the boys. The winners are made here, and everyone else is left to fend on their own. Choosing teams is not for the faint of heart. Each captain is responsible for choosing 9 other people to add to their team, a complete mix of other pros, amateurs, and wakeskaters. My strategy was simple, add the derivative of the score to the multiple of their seeding placement before calculating the mean.

Supra Boats @SupraBoats Pro Team Rider, Austin Hair, had reason to celebrate this past weekend! Not only did he take delivery of his Supra 242, he towed it directly to the Jobe Sports USA Orlando Store Grand Opening, covered by Alliance Wake Magazine. The boat and the store were a huge hit. Here's a little recap from Austin on his big weekend.

"My new supra 24 foot has finally arrived. It couldn't have come at a better time though, right before spring and just in time for the Jobe Sports USA Orlando Store Grand Opening. We pulled the boat front and center for the event. Despite the weather, we still had a great turnout. 5 or 6 different local food vendors came out to show their support and offer free food. Garett from Alliance Wake came out to document as well, so make sure you check out the write up.

Taylor McCullough made the jump from amateur wakeboarder to professional in 2011 and just earned her spot among Team Supra’s Factory Pros. This 13 year old was born to ride with a sincere passion for the sport and a resume full of wins as a result. Her character and dedication are the reasons Supra signed her as a Junior Pro in 2009 and why their support has grown to pro sponsorship. Growing up behind Supra boats, Taylor is made to win. Young guns Cory and Bradley Teunissen recently signed with Supra Boats (@SupraBoats) as Junior Pro riders.

Australia's youngest one-two wakeboarding punch, the Teunissen brothers, are now shredding the rampy water behind Supra Boats. Bradley and Cory Teunissen were given the opportunity to ride for the luxury performance customer-centric Buzz Brand of the Year and jumped at the chance. At 16 and 13 years old respectively, these young guns from Down Under, have been racking-up boat loads of accomplishments in the world of semi-pro wakeboarding. As their skills and riding careers progress so has their choice in wakeboard boats. Just like they relentlessly push their riding, Bradley and Cory have gone “beyond better” with a tow boat sponsor focused as much on refinement and relationships as wake performance. Look for more big things from Brad and Cory on the water behind their Supra boat.

Supra Boats @SupraBoats pro rider Amber Wing is no stranger to the Wake Awards. She's won a pair of Oakley Move of the Year awards for stomping the first 720 and 900 ever landed by a woman. Her Best Women's nod in 2011 was her third, that's one more award than any other female rider. While hoisting Wake Awards is nothing new to Wing, her second trip to the 2011 Wake Awards stage was to collect a surprising first. After a dominant year on tour in which she won five of eight events and finished second in two others, Wong won her first-ever Queen of Wake. We doubt it will be her last. And thanks to a mix of tech and style and that's currently unmatched in the women's game, we can all but guarantee that the Wake Awards hasn't seen the last of Wing. She's going to continue to train behind her Supra Launch 242 wakeboard boat and win more Wake Awards.

Skier’s Choice, maker of Supra (@SupraBoats) and Moomba Boats, was voted the 2011 Buzz Brand of the Year by Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) members at Surf Expo.

Skier’s Choice was announced as the 2011 Water Sports Industry Buzz Brand of the Year by the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) September 8th at the TransWorld Wakeboarding Magazine Wake Awards at Surf Expo in Orlando, FL. Being dubbed the most talked about brands in the water sports industry is a big deal for this improvement-driven company, but it isn’t the only recognition they are receiving. This 2011 WSIA Leadership Award joins a 6th consecutive NMMA CSI Award for Customer Service Excellence in the Skier’s Choice trophy case already this season.

Wake the World this Saturday at Lake Mead

Supra Boats Dealer Boulder Boats is bringing "Wake the World" to Boulder City, Nevada Saturday, September 24, 2011, 8:30am and 8:30pm to benefit St. Jude’s Ranch for Children .

Wake the World is a goodwill movement ignited by Greg Hodgin of North Carolina and Ryan Caroll of Texas to bring the joy of water sports boating to displaced children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to be out on the lake. Boulder Boats has partnered with a group of their dedicated customers to make this amazing fun-filled day happen on Lake Mead for the children and staff of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.

Wake the World Lake Mead is the product of Boulder Boats owners Stuart and Kristina Litjens being willing to become the first boat dealer to to fully support the movement. The success of this event is being carried through by the Litjens' extraordinary local customer base who are volunteering their time, Supra boats, equipment and fuel to give these kids a great day on the water.

Wake the World Lake Mead will include boating, wakeboarding, other water sports, lunch and a dinner party. Pro wakeboarders Jimmy Trask and Will Christien will be at the lake to help with the event. Wake the World founders Hodgin and Caroll will also be at the lake to help with the event and reinforce the positive fun of this day on the lake.

The Litjens are very proud to be the first boat dealer to join the Wake the World Foundation by hosting the first ever Wake the World – Lake Mead. They are expecting 100 people on Saturday at the lake. Approximately 50 children from St. Jude’s Ranch, 20 St. Jude’s staff members and more than 30 Boulder Boats staff and customer volunteers, will be on and around the lake for a 12-hour day on the 24th.

Red Bull's Northern Tides Airs on FuelTV Friday

The Supra (FB Fan Page) Launch 22v Worlds Edition is featured in a TV Show Red Bull produced during a trip to the Kimberly Region of Australia. "Northern Tides" is a wakeboarding-based documentary of the Kimberly's featuring Red Bull riders and Supra wakeboard boats. The show is airing on FuelTV (@FuelTV) starting September 9, 2011. Don't miss it!

In late 2010 some of the best Red Bull wakeboarders, Like Team Supra rider Josh Saunders (@SupraBoatsAUS), went to the remote northwest coast of Australia for a film project called Northern Tides. They shot so much amazing stuff Red Bull created a series of webisodes to preserve the trip. FuelTV thought so much of the series they decided to air the shows on their station.
